PM Modi uses ‘Money Heist’ reference to attack Congress on MP Dhiraj Sahu row

PM Modi has targeted Congress over the cash worth crores of rupees found from the premises of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu. He posted ‘Money Heist!’ on the social media site. Has shared a fiction video of the web series, in the caption of which he has written that in India, who needs the ‘money heist’ story, when you have the Congress party.

The name of a Congress MP from Jharkhand is in the headlines these days. This cash king of Congress is being discussed a lot among the leaders and common people. In the Income Tax raid on Dheeraj Sahu’s premises, Rs 351 crore in cash and gold jewellery worth about 3 kg have been recovered. This matter has taken a political colour. All the senior leaders of BJP and its allies are fiercely targeting Congress, while once again Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a dig at Congress.

PM Modi has shared a video shared by BJP on his social media site X (earlier Twitter) titled, ‘Congress presents ‘Money Heist!’. While sharing this video, the PM wrote in the caption that ‘In India, who needs the ‘money heist’ story, when you have the Congress party’. Further, the PM wrote that ‘whose dacoities have been famous for 70 years and are about to be counted’.

PM taunts Congress through video 

In this video posted through PM, the money found during the IT raid is visible, which is filled in many bags. Along with this, pictures of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with Dheeraj Sahu are also seen in the video, along with the photo of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is also visible. A clip from the famous web series Money is also shown in the video.

 

Congress compared with ‘Money Heist’ web series

PM Modi has taken a dig at Congress through a web series named Money Heist which is based on theft. PM has compared this web series with the raid on Dheeraj Sahu’s hideouts. Even before this, PM Modi had targeted Congress over crores of rupees found in the raid. By sharing a post on X, the PM had said that the countrymen should look at the pile of these notes and then listen to the ‘speeches’ of honesty of their leaders. Apart from this, the PM had also said that every penny of what has been looted from the public will have to be returned, this is Modi’s guarantee.

 

BJD and BJP face to face in Odisha 

At the same time, leaders of all parties have raised questions on the silence of Congress regarding Dheeraj Sahu. In Odisha, a round of allegations and counter-allegations is going on between the ruling parties BJD, BJP and Congress. In Odisha, BJP has alleged that the BJD government has given a free hand to the Sahu brothers to do country liquor business in the state in the last two decades.

In response to this, BJD said that while the national leadership of the saffron party is raising questions on the Congress, the BJP leaders in the state are targeting the state government.
