Income Tax has so far recovered cash worth more than Rs 290 crore from the locations of Congress Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand, Dhiraj Prasad Sahu. Many leaders have reacted regarding this.
Regarding this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Today is Global Anti-Corruption Day. Fortunately, just two days ago we saw such pictures in which so much cash was found in the house of an MP. I was surprised to see this. I can say with certainty that I am sure no one would have seen so many notes together in their life, only bank cashiers would have seen so many notes.”
pic.twitter.com/yfglEIQAjk

PM Modi also took a dig
Earlier on Friday, PM Modi had sarcastically posted a laughing emoji on his X-post. He said, “The countrymen should look at the pile of these notes and then listen to the honesty speeches of their leaders. Every penny of what has been looted from the public will have to be returned, this is Modi’s guarantee.”
