OBC, a karyakarta, roots from ABVP: How Mohan Yadav for Madhya Pradesh CM is a masterstroke by BJP

Outgoing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had proposed the name of Ujjain South MLA. In the presence of observers, all the party MLAs approved the name of Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Along with this, the party has also announced two Deputy Chief Ministers in the state. The party has made Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Deora as Deputy Chief Ministers. Narendra Singh Tomar can be given the responsibility of Assembly Speaker.

Who is Mohan Yadav? 

58-year-old Mohan Yadav started his political career from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in 1984. He has also been a member of the Sangh. For the first time in 2013, he won the election from Ujjain South seat and this time he won the election for the third time by 12941 votes. Have reached the assembly. After the BJP government returned to the state in 2020, he was also made the Higher Education Minister.He has been the Chairman of Ujjain Development Authority from 2004 to 2010 while he has held the responsibility of Chairman of MP State Tourism Development Authority from 2011 to 2013. His educational qualification is PhD.

Trying to play the OBC card

Ignoring the names of all possible candidates, the BJP command has made Mohan Yadav, who comes from a common sense political family, as the Chief Minister. Mohan is one of the big OBC cities of Ujjain division of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from being close to the Sangh, he is also trusted by Modi Shah.

This decision is shocking, even considering the 54 percent OBC population of Madhya Pradesh and entire North India. Along with this, BJP can also use Mohan Yadav as a counter to Tejashwi and Akhilesh Yadav in Bihar & UP.
