On Saturday, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in poll bound state, Madhya Pradesh. He was in Chhindwara, the home region of state Congress chief Kamalnath. While addressing the rally, Amit Shah said that Madhya Pradesh is dominated by three families — Gandhi family, Kamalnath family and Digvijay family.

“Here (Madhya Pradesh) orders follow from Gandhi family, instructions follow from Kamal Nath and when a mistake is made, Digvijay is slapped on the cheek. That is why today people of Kamal Nath and Digvijay are bent upon tearing each other’s clothes,” said Amit Shah.

Amit Shah also attacked Congress party over Ram Mandir issue and said that it’s because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, idol of Lord Ram will be installed in Ayodhya on Jnauary 22, 2023. “Since independence, the Congress party was delaying, stalling and diverting the Ram temple. In 2019, the people of Madhya Pradesh made Modi the Prime Minister for the second time by giving many seats, and he performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Ramlala is going to be established there on January 22, 2024,” said Amit Shah.

Union Minister Amit Shah also claimed that the Modi government has increased the expenditure for tribal welfare as compared to previous government of Congress (UPA). “In 2013-14, there was Congress government at the Center and Congress spent Rs 29 thousand crores for tribal welfare in the country. Now Modi government spends Rs 1 lakh 38 thousand crore for tribal welfare,” claimed Amit Shah.

“BJP has a track record of tribal welfare. Many years after independence, Atal ji first created the Ministry of Tribal Welfare, formed the Tribal Commission and Modi ji added more than 23 tribes to the list of tribals,” added Amit Shah.
