Jharkhand: BJP chief JP Nadda concludes ‘Sankalp Yatra 2023’ in Ranchi, attacks JMM, Congress

JP Nadda also claimed that it was Modi government who took the decision to celebrate ‘Tribal Pride Day’ on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda.

On Saturday, BJP’s National President JP Nadda addressed the Sankalp Yatra Janasabha in Ranchi, Jharkhand, to mark the completion of Sankalp Yatra 2023. JP Nadda addressed the rally in which BJP workers from throughout the state took part and BJP state president Babulal Marandi was also there.

BJP chief JP Nadda lashed out at Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and said that he turned a blind eye to religious conversion in the state.

“Hemant Soren sought votes in the name of tribes, and no one else has caused as much harm to the tribes as he did. Turning a blind eye to religious conversion for vote politics shows that Hemant Soren is only concerned about votes and not about the culture of the tribals,” said JP Nadda.

BJP chief also attacked the arch rival Congress over women’s safety issue. He said: The leaders of the Congress Party have a habit that whenever elections come, they go on a political tour. Just now the Congress leader (Priyanka Gandhi Vadra) has gone to Rajasthan, tomorrow she will go somewhere else.”

“The atrocities committed against women during the Gehlot government in Rajasthan cannot be forgotten, but she did not go to Rajasthan then. Never worried about those women, never talked about women empowerment but when elections come, they have to go,” added Nadda.

JP Nadda also claimed that it was Modi government who took the decision to celebrate ‘Tribal Pride Day’ on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. “Atal ji established Jharkhand state and laid the foundation of tribal welfare here. Many parties discuss the tribal society, but the decision to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda ji as ‘Tribal Pride Day’ was taken by the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji,” said JP Nadda on X.
