
The fourth meeting of I.N.D.I.A., an alliance of opposition parties, was organised in the country’s capital Delhi on Tuesday. A big update has come out of this meeting. According to the information, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has proposed to make Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge the opposition’s prime ministerial candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also supported this proposal of Mamata.
The VCK MP Thol. Thirumavalavan spoke to news agency ANI: “Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal proposed that Mallikarjun Kharge must be the coordinator of this INDIA team, and we will project him as the Prime Minister in the forthcoming elections. But Kharge ji rejected this categorically. He said – no need for this suggestion, after the election only we can decide who is the PM. He immediately rejected this point.”

On the other hand, RLD MP Jayant Singh said that “I cannot comment about it,” on being asked about whether Mallikarjun Kharge’s name was proposed for PM face or not.
Let us tell you that in the evening of December 18, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had met Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Delhi. Their picture of meeting also came out, before the fourth meeting of INDIA bloc.
Will hold demonstrations, meetings together – Kharge
After the alliance meeting was over, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed the press conference. He said that 28 parties participated in this fourth meeting. Everyone expressed their views. Everyone has unitedly decided that they will hold 8-10 meetings and demonstrations simultaneously in the country. If all the leaders are not seen on one platform, then people will not know that they are together now. Therefore, this decision has been taken.
