The campaign for the assembly elections has intensified in Telangana. In this sequence, today PM Modi reached Secunderabad, adjacent to the state capital Hyderabad. While speaking at the rally organized at the Parade Ground, the Prime Minister asked for votes in favour of the candidates and also cautioned the Congress and BRS to be cautious. He described both the parties as anti-Dalit.

“During the times of movement, the people were promised that a Dalit would be made the first CM of Telangana. However, after the formation of the state KCR became the CM, and thus crushed the aspirations of the Dalits. BRS promised to give land to the Dalits. They promised to give money under the Dalit Bandhu Scheme,” said PM Modi.
“BRS is anti-Dalit and Congress is just like them. The BRS insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar by demanding a new constitution. Congress has the same history. Congress didn’t let Baba Saheb win elections two times,” added PM Modi.
“Congress and the BRS are alike in corruption. BRS govt allied with Delhi’s AAP govt in corruption. They are involved in the Liquor Scam. They cooperate not in work but in corruption,” further added PM Modi.
Further attacking the BRS government in the state, PM Modi said that the Telangana government betrayed everyone. “The govt that was formed 10 years ago here was not able to protect the pride and respect of Telangana. The world appreciates the capabilities of the people of Telangana. However, govt of Telangana has let down the people. In these ten years, the Telangana govt betrayed everyone, including the Madiga Community,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi also said that BJP government is committed to social justice.
“Our govt’s topmost priority is the welfare of the poor and priority to the deprived. We are committed to ensuring social justice. We consider Shri Gurram Jashuva and his works of social justice our inspiration. In his literature, he depicted a Dalit brother who had shared his plight with Baba Vishwanath,” said PM Modi.
“The BJP made the laws, about the atrocities on SC and ST, stricter. We ensured that the poor got a bank account, gas connection, toilet, homes. In all these schemes, the people from SC, ST and OBC were given the most benefit,” added PM Modi.
Elections in Telangana are scheduled to take place on November 30, followed by counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
