Bengal CM ‘Mamata Banerjee’ geared up to contest from the earlier seat to secure her post

With the purpose to continue as the Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is going to contest from Bhawanipur seat, given up by TMC’s Chattopadhyay to make the party head enable to contest.

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee who won West Bengal election 2021, but faced failure in her own constituency Nandigram is all set to contest from Bhawanipur in order to secure her post.

Well, the Trinamool MLA who won the Bhawanipur seat, Shobhandeb Chattopadhyay, gave up his seat, on Friday, in order to make his party head enable to contest from the seat.

“Mamata Banerjee will fight from Bhawanipur in the coming six months”, said Chattopadhyay, as quoted by ANI.

In order to continue as Bengal Chief Minister, Banerjee will have to contest by-polls, and also, she will have to acquire the post of the member of state legislative assembly within the coming six months.

Well, Mamata lost the Nandigram seat by a narrow margin to BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari.
