‘Bantadhar-Corruption Nath duo to go home,’ says Amit Shah in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh

State Assembly elections are aligned to be held in 5 states in the month of November. On November 7 elections were already carried out in 2 states i.e. Mizoram and Chhattisgarh. The next approaching election is on November 17, following which party’s are busy advertising themselves for winning the vote of people. Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh on Monday.

While addressing the rally, Amit Shah attacked former CM Kamal Nath by giving him the name ‘Corruption Nath’ and also alleged that he stopped 51 schemes of poor welfare in his tenure of one and a half years. “Double engine government is going to be formed again in Madhya Pradesh and this duo of Bantadhar and Corruption Nath to go home,” said Amit Shah.

“Kamal Nath’s government came in between and within one and a half years, about 51 schemes for poor welfare were closed. Even by mistake, if Kamal Nath government comes again then it will stop Ladli Lakshmi Yojana,” alleged Amit Shah.

While addressing the meeting, Shah made out several attacks on the Congress government, “Congress always insulted the OBC community. When the Mandal Commission report came, Congress suppressed it for many years. Rajiv Gandhi opposed the implementation of Mandal Commission. Backward Classes Commission was not given constitutional recognition for 70 years,” said Amit Shah.

Also, appealing for the votes of the people of Madhya Pradesh, Amit Shah said, “This time the people of Madhya Pradesh have to celebrate 3 Diwali. Firstly, we have celebrated yesterday, secondly we will celebrate on 3rd December by forming BJP government, and thirdly we have to celebrate on 22nd January when Ram Lalla is seated in Ayodhya.”

2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held on November 17, 2023 to elect all 230 members of the state’s Legislative Assembly.
