
The members of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) along its leader Arvind Kejriwal concluded their meeting on Sunday, with party’s electoral debut in poll bound Mizoram. The elections for 40-seats of Mizoram assembly will be held on November 7 followed by counting on December 3. For the expansion of the party in the state, a coordination committee and a northeast cell will be formed.
AAP founder and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, “Met AAP heads of Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh and discussed prospects and preparedness of AAP sangthan in these states.”

Hence, it is quite clear that AAP is all set to flourish itself in northeast India with its eyes on Mizoram.
