In a recent meeting held lately, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed for the speedy implementation of welfare schemes in rural areas within six months along with the launch of ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ across all 2.7 lakh panchayats to ensure the implementation of schemes. The campaign is all set to begin after Diwali next year, i.e., after 13th November. The campaign will coincide with the date of the state assembly elections, followed by the Lok Sabha elections next year.
Official Sources told ANI that again in a cabinet meeting, PM Modi exhorted his cabinet colleagues to work harder and ensure beneficiaries who haven’t got benefits of welfare schemes are reached faster.

Earlier today, PM Modi was addressing an event at Scindia School at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. PM Modi said: “At least do the hand-holding of one underprivileged family.” “We cannot rest until every Poor family gets its gas connection, Bank account, well-built house and Ayushman card,” said PM, listing the methods to completely eradicate Poverty from Bharat. “Thirteen and a half crores of people have come out of poverty in last five years.
