
Monu Manesar was arrested on September 12 by Nuh police because of an inflammatory message he posted on social media. The police arrested on the terms of the post, which was tending to create religious chaos and violence. A similar incident was recorded on July 31, when a religious march taken out by VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) and Bajrang Dal was attacked by a mob in Nuh, resulting in death of six people and injury of 88 people.
Mohit Yadav alias ‘Cow vigilante’ Monu Manesar was granted bail in his connection with Nuh violence. However, the celebration of bail was soon overtook by the other cases on Manesar registered by Rajasthan Police for the murder of two Muslim men, Nasir (35) and Junaid (27), in February.
The two cousins were brutally assaulted and killed under suspicion of being cow smugglers. On Feburary 16, Rajasthan police recovered the bodies from burned SUV in Loharu, Bhiwani situated on Rajasthan-Haryana border.
He was taken by Rajasthan police after it obtained a transit remand from a court in Haryana’s Nuh last month. Previous week , Rajasthan Police also confirmed that Manesar wished to join gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang(Accused in murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, aka Sidhu Moosewala) confirmed via video chat between the two.
Few days ago, a court sent him to 14 day judicial custody after he was brought back from Rajasthan.
