Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet train: Longest bridge stretch over Narmada river to be completed by 2024

The 508 km long stretch is covered with the help of a bridge, is said to be the longest one between the two states, will be completed by June 2024, informed NHSRCL.

The Bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is all set to be complete by June 2024, according to the reports provided by National High-Speed Rail Corridor (NHSRCL).

The reports reveal that all the bridges under development on various rivers in Gujarat are set to be completed by 2024. Pramod Sharma, Principal Executive Director of NHSRCL, while commenting about the development said that the usage of the latest and modern technology is helping the department minimize the time scale required to complete the project.

Of the development of 20 bridges, the longest bridge is on the Narmada river which stretches for 720 meters. The train services for public use will be rolled out by 2027 while the Bullet corridor will begin in 2026.
