Military installations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur came under attack from Pakistan on Wednesday night, as missiles and drones were launched towards the strategically sensitive zones near the International Boundary in Jammu & Kashmir.

In a swift and coordinated response, the Indian Armed Forces neutralised the threat using both kinetic and non-kinetic means, as per standard operating procedures (SoP), according to a statement issued by Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS).

The armed forces confirmed that there were no losses reported during the hostile action.

The incident marks another escalation amid heightened tensions in the region under the ongoing Operation Sindoor, India’s coordinated offensive to dismantle terror infrastructure in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and beyond.
