Former President Pranab Mukherjee passes away on August 31st at the age of 84. He served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017.
Mr Mukherjee has tested positive for Coronavirus while on a visit to hospital for a separate procedure on 10 August 2020. Mukherjee revealed that he had developed an infection through a Twitter post on Monday, told everyone who fell in touch with him to get checked.

On 10 August 2020, former President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the Delhi Cantt Army Hospital (R&R) in a critical condition. Hospital tests revealed a major brain clot for which he underwent lifesaving emergency surgery and had not shown any improvement.
Former President Pranab Mukherjee has been a senior leader in the Indian National Congress and has occupied several ministerial portfolios in the Government of India. He also served as the 13th President of India from 2012 to 2017.
