Madhya Pradesh: Man axes father and wife to death over their alleged affair

The ASP said that the bodies of the two victims; Santosh’s father and Wife, had been sent for post-mortem and that the accused was arrested and the case was under investigation.

On Saturday, a 35-year-old man allegedly axed his own father and wife to death when he found them in a compromising position at their house in a village of Jabalpur District in Madhya Pradesh, as reported by the police.

The accused, Santosh Lodhi, killed his father Aman Lodhi and wide Kavita Lodhi, who were 65 and 32 years old respectively, on Friday night with an axe at their house in Gokalahar village which is within 50 kms distance from the district headquarters, said the Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), SS Baghel.

The ASP said that during an interrogation, the accused, Santosh mentioned to the police that he had killed both of them, his father and wife, after he found them in an objectionable position at their home under the Balkheda police station area. The police was alerted by a relative of the accused which led to the team of policemen to find the bodies lying in a pool of blood in the room while the accused, Santosh, was sitting at the doorstep of the house.
