Raising the matter during the Question Hour, Mr Sajjan Singh Verma (Cong) desired to know whether OPS implementation was under the dispensation’s consideration. Finance Minister Jagdish Devda replied in the negative.

The Third Supplementary Budget of Rs 16,329.50 crore was presented in the House by Mr Devda.

Erstwhile Finance minister Tarun Bhanot (Cong) staged a solo walkout as he was dissatisfied with his successor Devda’s reply to a general discussion on the state Budget.

“The capital expenses are rather low when compared with revenue expenditure,” Mr Bhanot said.
