Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic shooting of former MLA Baba Siddique in Mumbai, calling the incident unfortunate. Shinde confirmed that two accused individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack, while a third is still absconding.
The Chief Minister stated that one of the arrested individuals hails from Uttar Pradesh, and the other is from Haryana. The police have been instructed to take all necessary measures to maintain law and order in the city during this difficult time.
“The police are actively searching for the third suspect, and we are committed to ensuring swift justice. This incident is truly unfortunate, and we will not tolerate such actions in our state,” Shinde remarked.
As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement is continuing their efforts to locate the absconding suspect while ensuring that the city remains calm in the wake of the tragedy.
