Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique. Siddique, a prominent political figure in Mumbai, was tragically shot in Bandra East on Saturday evening by unidentified assailants. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, the former Maharashtra minister succumbed to his injuries.
Reacting to the tragic news, Deora took to social media to share his heartfelt condolences, stating, “I’m shocked to hear about the passing of Baba Siddiqui ji. I am on my way to meet his family. Baba Siddique, who had a long and distinguished career in public service, was known for his close ties with the community in Bandra and for hosting Mumbai’s most renowned Iftar party, which brought together people from diverse backgrounds. His son, Zeeshan Siddique, is currently an MLA representing Bandra East.
