1. Umiam lake

Umiam Lake is a man-made reservoir formed when a dam was built to provide hydroelectric power. 2. Elephant Falls

This stunning waterfall in Shillong is three-tiered. During the British administration, the fall was called Elephant Fall because of the adjacent rock that was present earlier. However, the stone was demolished by an earthquake, but the falls continue to be known as Elephant Falls. You can relax in the calming falls surrounded by beautiful greenery.

3. Don Bosco Museum

The largest museum in Asia, the Don Bosco Museum represents the indigenous culture and tradition of northeastern India. The museum’s seven-story structure dazzles visitors as it scraps into the sky.
