What is a Fedora Hat?
A fedora is a hat with a soft brim, and an indented crown, and is often “pinched” on both sides towards the front and lengthwise down the crown. The arrangement of pinches can differ, and the brim of a fedora is typically about 6.4 cm broad, although it can be wider. Fedoras can also be creased with teardrop crowns, diamond crowns, centre dents, and other creases.
Fedoras can be fashioned of straw, cotton, cotton that has been waxed or oiled, hemp, linen, cashmere, rabbit, or beaver felt, as well as leather.
