A Tale of Two Weddings: Alia-Ranbir and Parineeti-Raghav’s Wedding Outfits

Weddings are always the talk of the town, the Grooms and Bride’s outfit, their makeup. But when there’s a wedding in the B-town, everyone is trying to know the details of it.

Alia Bhatt’s wedding to Ranbir Kapoor was a star-studded affair that left everyone in awe. Alia, like many Bollywood brides before her, chose the renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to create her wedding ensemble. However, what set her apart was her unconventional choice of attire. While others often opt for lehengas, Alia went for an exquisite ivory sari.

Alia’s Ensemble:

Alia’s ivory organza sari was a testament to Sabyasachi’s craftsmanship. The hand-dyed sari featured intricate tilla work that added a touch of timeless elegance. She paired it with a matching half-sleeved blouse that complemented her bridal glow perfectly. Her look was completed with an embroidered handwoven tissue veil that added an ethereal quality to her appearance.

Ranbir the groom:

Ranbir Kapoor, the dashing groom, was a picture of sophistication. He wore an ivory embroidered silk sherwani, also designed by Sabyasachi. The sherwani featured uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa (turban), and a shawl adorned with zari marori embroidery. His accessories included Sabyasachi Heritage jewellery, including a striking multistrand pearl necklace.

Whereas, Parineeti Chopra’s wedding to Raghav was nothing short of a fairytale. Her bridal look was a harmonious blend of elegance, tradition, and heartfelt tributes.

Parineeti’s Lehenga:

For her big day, Parineeti chose a Manish Malhotra creation that exuded regal grace. Handcrafted with intricate nakshi embroidery, her lehenga was adorned with vintage gold thread and metal sequins in a mesmerizing linear geometric pattern. It was paired with a matching mesh blouse that added a contemporary touch to her traditional attire.

Personalized Touch:

What truly made Parineeti’s look special were the personalized details. Her veil featured her husband Raghav’s name, adding a romantic touch to her ensemble. In a touching tribute to her grandmother, Parineeti incorporated her nani’s traditional keychain into her lehenga. Manish Malhotra, the designer, shared that this addition was a heartfelt tribute to the lady of the house, symbolizing strength and grace.

Both Alia-Ranbir and Parineeti-Raghav’s weddings showcased their unique styles and personalities. While Alia opted for a minimalistic yet elegant sari by Sabyasachi, Parineeti embraced a more traditional look with a Manish Malhotra lehenga that was not only breathtaking but also filled with sentimental value.
