The main trend in the 1950s era was that of red lips. Women would apply bold red lipsticks in such a way that it would exaggerate their wide cupid bow. The wide cupid bow and red lips were a trend inspired by the fashion icons of then; especially Lucille Ball and Marilyn Monroe.

High Brow Arch

Fluffy brows were in trend in the 1950s. It was this time that women would create a high arch and shape their fluffy eyebrows to make them look fuller. Moreover, after this era, fluffy eyebrows were long gone until they returned back in the fashion and beauty world in the 1980s.

Blue Eyeshadow

Blue eyeshadows were applied and placed in a sliver on the lid. The blue colour would pop and give a flash of vibrancy whenever the eyes blinked. However, it seems that it has returned again with a little twist and the magic of evolution and is now in the form of coloured eyeliners.
