Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd shares fell 3% in early Friday trade after the company reported a sharp drop in its Q2FY26 earnings, disappointing investors. As of 9:38 AM, the shares were trading 2.94% lower at Rs 106.10.
The company’s net profit tumbled 65.3% year-on-year to ₹76.5 crore, compared to ₹220.2 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue also slipped 1.6% YoY to ₹1,969.2 crore from ₹2,001 crore.
Operating performance took a major hit as EBITDA plunged 51% YoY to ₹159 crore from ₹323.5 crore, while margins contracted sharply to 8.1% from 16.2% a year ago.
