Shares of Surya Roshni Limited declined more than 6% after the company reported a mixed set of numbers for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The Q3 FY26 results reflected modest revenue growth but a decline in profitability due to margin pressure.

The company posted a net profit of ₹79.7 crore in Q3 FY26, down 11.4% from ₹90 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The fall in bottom-line performance signals pressure on earnings despite stable sales growth.

Revenue from operations rose 3.2% year-on-year to ₹1,928 crore, compared with ₹1,868 crore reported in Q3 FY25. The increase indicates steady demand across key segments, although growth remained moderate during the quarter.

At the operating level, EBITDA stood at ₹145 crore, marking a 3.2% decline from ₹149.7 crore in the year-ago period. The contraction in operating profit weighed on overall earnings performance.

EBITDA margin narrowed to 7.5% in Q3 FY26 from 8% in Q3 FY25, reflecting a compression of 50 basis points YoY.
