Waaree Renewables shares surge 12% as Q4 revenue jumps 74% YoY

Shares of Waaree Renewables Technologies Ltd jumped over 12% in morning trade on Thursday after the company reported an 83% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹93.76 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4 FY25). The stellar growth was attributed to a significant increase in total income, which surged to ₹481.43 crore, compared to ₹275.35 crore in the same period last year.

Despite the growth in revenue, the company’s expenses also rose, reaching ₹356.25 crore, up from ₹203.27 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s robust performance highlights its growing strength in the renewable energy sector.

In addition to the financial results, Waaree Renewables announced key management changes. The Board approved the appointment of Sudhir Arya as an Additional Director in the Non-Executive, Independent category, effective April 16, 2025. Sunil Rathi has been re-designated from Non-Executive Director to Executive Director, with terms to be finalized by the Board. Furthermore, Manmohan Sharma has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), also effective April 16, 2025.
