Shares of UTI Asset Management Company rose nearly 5% on Wednesday.

Recently the fund house reported significant inflows in September 2024. The company’s total assets under management (AUM) increased by ₹7,691 crore in a month, pushing the AUM to ₹3.51 lakh crore from ₹3.44 lakh crore in August. This strong performance comes as part of a broader uptick in the Indian mutual fund industry.

Across the industry, the combined asset base of 44 mutual funds in India grew to ₹68.74 lakh crore in September, up by ₹74,557 crore from the previous month. UTI Mutual Fund was among the top fund houses to benefit from this growth, reflecting increasing investor confidence and strong market performance.

As of 10:00 AM, UTI AMC shares were trading 4.41% higher at ₹1,287.30 on the NSE.
