Shares of Trident Limited fell more than 2% in early trade on Wednesday after the company reported a mixed set of Q4FY26 earnings. Weak profitability and lower revenue weighed on investor sentiment despite an improvement in operating margins.

As of 9:19 AM, Trident shares were trading near the day’s low after opening at ₹24.10 against the previous close of ₹24.44.

Revenue from operations declined 12.4% year-on-year to ₹1,633 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to ₹1,864 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s EBITDA slipped 2.1% YoY to ₹242.2 crore versus ₹247.4 crore in the year-ago period. However, EBITDA margin improved to 14.8% from 13.3% on a yearly basis, indicating better operational efficiency despite lower sales.

Net profit for the quarter came in at ₹102 crore, down 23.6% compared to ₹133.3 crore reported in the same period last year.
