Coal India declined 2.6%, tracking the broader market weakness despite its status as a large-cap PSU stock. Tech Mahindra traded 2.2% lower, extending losses in the technology sector during the session.

Apollo Hospitals declined 2.1%, remaining among the notable drags on the benchmark indices. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries was down 2.0% at midday, underperforming the broader pharmaceutical space. Trent also slipped 2.0%, continuing its downward movement during the trading session.

InterGlobe Aviation, the operator of IndiGo, traded 1.9% lower as airline stocks remained under pressure. Jio Financial Services declined 1.9%, rounding out the list of top Nifty 50 losers at midday.
