Shares of TeamLease Services rallied nearly 9% in trade after the company reported a strong set of Q3 financial results, with sharp growth in profitability and improved operating margins. The performance reassured investors about the company’s earnings momentum despite modest revenue growth.
For the third quarter, TeamLease reported a net profit of ₹41.7 crore, marking a robust 46.8% year-on-year growth compared to ₹28.4 crore in the same period last year. The significant jump in profit highlights better cost management and operational efficiency during the quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 3% year-on-year to ₹3,013 crore, up from ₹2,921.3 crore in Q3 of the previous financial year. While top-line growth remained steady, the company’s focus on margin expansion played a key role in boosting overall earnings.
EBITDA for the quarter increased sharply by 21.8% to ₹42.4 crore, compared with ₹34.8 crore reported a year ago. This improvement translated into healthier operating margins, with EBITDA margin expanding to 1.4% from 1.2% on a year-on-year basis, reflecting better operating leverage.
