Tata Steel on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, witnessed the stock price swinging between gains and losses before ending marginally lower. The shares opened flat at Rs 151.80, similar to the previous close of Rs 151.85. Initial buying pushed the price higher to an intraday high of Rs 152.65.
However, selling pressure emerged around those levels, dragging Tata Steel down to an intraday low of Rs 147.90. Some value buying at lower levels helped the stock recoup losses partially. Tata Steel finally settled at Rs 151.60 on Wednesday, still down 0.16% from its last close.
The session recorded trading volumes of Rs 78,502.19 lakhs. As of Wednesday’s close, Tata Steel commands a market capitalization of around Rs 1,89,250 crores, cementing its position as one of India’s largest steelmakers.
