Synergy Green Industries reported a sharp decline in profitability for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, even as revenue from operations increased on a year on year basis.

The company’s revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 stood at Rs 119.04 crore, up 22.1% from Rs 97.47 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income during the quarter rose to Rs 123.45 crore compared to Rs 97.91 crore in Q4 FY25.

However, profit after tax for the quarter fell sharply by nearly 89.4% YoY to Rs 0.41 crore from Rs 3.84 crore reported in the same quarter previous year. Profit before tax also declined significantly to Rs 0.31 crore against Rs 7.67 crore in Q4 FY25.

The decline in earnings came as total expenses increased to Rs 123.13 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 90.24 crore a year ago. Finance costs rose to Rs 6.69 crore from Rs 4.49 crore, while depreciation and amortisation expenses surged to Rs 7.83 crore from Rs 3.15 crore.

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 366.42 crore, slightly higher than Rs 362.27 crore recorded in FY25. Net profit for FY26 stood at Rs 4.66 crore, down sharply from Rs 16.89 crore reported in the previous financial year.
