However, buying interest emerged at lower levels, triggering a smart recovery. The stock bounced back strongly as the session progressed to hit an intraday high of Rs 40.60. Persistent buying saw Suzlon Energy eventually settle at Rs 40.60, posting a handsome gain of 4.91% over its last close.
The surge was backed by significant trading volumes of Rs 23,665.10 lakhs. As of Thursday’s close, Suzlon Energy commands a market capitalization of around Rs 55,198 crores.
