Stocks to Watch on January 7, 2025: Nuvoco, Adani Enterprises, Coal India, Macrotech Developers, NESCO and more

The GIFT Nifty futures were trading 69.50 points higher at 23,810 as of 8:10 AM. This comes after a sharp decline in the previous session, where Sensex fell 1,258.12 points (1.59%) to 77,964.99, and Nifty50 dropped 388.70 points (1.62%) to 23,616.05.

1. Results Today:

Companies including Mobikwik, GM Breweries, Krishna Ventures, Leel Electricals, UH Zaveri, and VR Woodart will announce their quarterly earnings.


2. Nuvoco Vistas Corp:

Nirma Group-promoted Nuvoco Vistas has emerged as the successful applicant for Vadraj Cement under the CIRP process. The company called it a “value-buy,” though it did not disclose the transaction value.


3. Adani Enterprises:

Adani Petrochemicals, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, completed the incorporation of a joint venture company, Valor Petrochemicals Limited (VPL), with Thailand-based Indorama Resources Limited.


4. Macrotech Developers:

Macrotech Developers (Lodha) reported its highest-ever quarterly pre-sales of Rs 4,510 crore, marking a 32% YoY growth in Q3FY25.


5. Coal India:

Coal India and IREL (India) Limited signed a non-binding MoU for the development of critical minerals, signaling a strategic move into mineral collaboration.


6. NMDC/KIOCL:

The Steel Ministry is considering a merger between NMDC and KIOCL to facilitate iron ore pellet exports.


7. ICICI Securities:

ICICI Securities resolved a regulatory issue with SEBI by paying Rs 40.2 lakh for alleged misuse of terminals and lapses in monitoring.


8. Airtel/Vodafone Idea (Vi):

Bharti Airtel and Vi sold their stakes in Firefly Networks to iBus Network and Infrastructure for Rs 9 crore.


9. Arkade Developers:

The company announced redevelopment projects in Mumbai’s western suburbs, expecting to generate Rs 2,150 crore in revenue from three key residential projects.


10. Info Edge:

The parent company of Naukri.com saw standalone billings grow 15.8% YoY to Rs 668.3 crore, driven by a 15.2% growth in recruitment solutions.


11. NESCO:

The company was declared the highest bidder for developing and operating Wayside Amenities on the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway Corridor, with an estimated annualized revenue of Rs 350 crore from the fourth year.


12. Ashoka Buildcon:

Its arm, Ashoka Bowaichandi Guskara Road, signed a concession agreement with NHAI for a Rs 1,391 crore 4-lane Economic Corridor project in West Bengal.


13. Power Grid Corporation:

Power Grid was awarded two interstate transmission system projects in Gujarat and Karnataka under the BOOT model.


14. Vakrangee:

Vakrangee renewed its agreement with Bank of Baroda to continue offering BC banking and financial inclusion services across India.
