Stock in focus: RVNL Q4 profit dips 4% YoY to Rs 459 crore; revenue and margin also decline

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) will be in focus on May 22 after the state-run infrastructure company reported a modest decline in its Q4 FY25 financial performance.

The company posted a 4% year-on-year drop in net profit, coming in at ₹459 crore compared to ₹478.4 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell 4.3% YoY to ₹6,426.9 crore from ₹6,714 crore. Operating performance also weakened slightly, with the EBITDA margin slipping to 6.7% from 6.8% YoY.

Ahead of the results, RVNL shares closed 0.51% lower at ₹412.95 on May 21. The stock opened at ₹416 and touched an intraday low of ₹405 before recovering slightly toward the close. It had previously settled at ₹415.05.

Investors will be watching how the stock reacts to the soft Q4 print when trading resumes today.
