Shares of Sical Logistics Limited locked in a 5% upper circuit on Tuesday after the company announced that it had received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a large domestic contract worth ₹4,038 crore, including GST. The LoA was issued on January 12, 2026, marking a major order win for the logistics and infrastructure services provider.
The contract has been awarded by South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India, for operations at the Porda Chimtapani Open Cast project located in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The project involves comprehensive execution of work in line with the tender conditions specified by SECL.
According to the regulatory disclosure, the total contract value stands at ₹4,038.18 crore, inclusive of GST. The scope of work will be carried out as per the tender document bearing NIT No. SECL/BSP/CMC/RGHCOMP/e-T/25-26/GeM/L80 dated June 16, 2025. The contract period is set at 4,214 days, translating into a long-term revenue visibility for Sical Logistics.
The company clarified that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed entirely within India, specifically at the Raigarh, Chhattisgarh location. The nature of the contract involves execution of work strictly in accordance with the terms outlined in the tender document issued by SECL.
