Shilpa Medicare has announced a strong set of Q2 numbers, showing a sharp improvement in profitability along with steady revenue growth.
The company reported a net profit of ₹44 crore for the quarter, a big jump from ₹18 crore a year earlier. This translates into a YoY increase of nearly 144%, reflecting stronger operational performance and better efficiency.
Revenue for the quarter touched ₹370 crore, up 7.6% compared to ₹344 crore in the same period last year. While the revenue growth remained moderate, the company’s operating metrics showed a much healthier trend.
EBITDA rose to ₹108.8 crore against ₹86.2 crore last year, marking a 26% increase. The EBITDA margin also expanded to 29.4% from 25% YoY, indicating improved cost control and better profitability across key segments.
