Reliance Power Ltd. reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), showing a decline in revenue but a turnaround to profit on a year-on-year basis.
For Q1 FY26, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations came in at ₹1,885.6 crore, down from ₹1,992.2 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income, including other income, stood at ₹2,025.3 crore, compared to ₹2,069.2 crore in Q1 FY25.
Despite the dip in revenue, Reliance Power posted a net profit of ₹44.68 crore, marking a significant turnaround from a net loss of ₹97.85 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Total expenses during the quarter were ₹1,953 crore, lower than ₹2,142.5 crore a year earlier, mainly due to reductions in fuel costs and administrative expenses.
At the operating level, the company recorded a profit before exceptional items and tax of ₹72.3 crore versus a loss of ₹73.3 crore in Q1 FY25.
The results reflect the company’s focus on cost optimization and efficiency improvements, helping it return to profitability despite softer revenues.
