Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) posted a healthy set of numbers for the September quarter, showcasing a strong year-on-year improvement in profitability and revenue despite some pressure on operating margins.

The company reported a net profit of ₹105.4 crore for Q2, marking a solid 33.4% rise compared to ₹79 crore in the same quarter last year. This jump reflects better overall performance across business segments and improved cost efficiencies.

Revenue for the quarter climbed to ₹5,292 crore, up 23.4% from ₹4,290 crore a year ago, indicating firm demand and higher realisations. However, operating performance remained largely stable. RCF posted an EBITDA of ₹201 crore versus ₹202 crore last year, reflecting a marginal dip of 6.4%.

The EBITDA margin came in at 4.1%, slightly lower than the 4.7% margin recorded in the previous year’s quarter.
