Orkla India announced its Q2 results with a mixed performance, showing modest revenue growth but pressure on profitability. The company’s net profit declined 7.3%, coming in at ₹77 crore compared to ₹83 crore in the same quarter last year.
Despite the profit dip, revenue continued to grow steadily. The top line rose 4.9% to ₹650.2 crore, up from ₹619.7 crore a year ago, reflecting stable demand across key categories.
Operating performance, however, remained under strain. EBITDA dropped 6.2% to ₹106.7 crore, down from ₹113.8 crore YoY. With operating costs weighing on performance, the EBITDA margin slipped to 16.4% from 18.4% last year.
