Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has reported a mixed performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company’s net profit came in at ₹1,377 crore, marking a 4.11% decline compared to ₹1,436 crore in the same quarter last year.
Despite the dip in profitability, HAL’s revenue from operations rose 10.8% year-on-year to ₹4,819 crore, up from ₹4,348 crore. The defence PSU also posted robust growth in operating performance, with EBITDA surging 29.2% to ₹1,284.3 crore against ₹994 crore in Q1 FY25.
Operating margins improved notably to 26.7% from 22.86% in the year-ago period, reflecting better cost efficiency and higher operational gains.
