State-run defence major Bharat Electronics reported a strong set of Q4FY26 earnings, with both revenue and profitability witnessing year-on-year growth during the March quarter.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,203.2 crore in Q4FY26, up 4.7% from Rs 2,104.8 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations rose 11.6% YoY to Rs 10,177.2 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 9,119.7 crore in Q4FY25.

Total income for the quarter came in at Rs 10,285.3 crore, registering a growth of 10.4% against Rs 9,313.9 crore in the year-ago period.

Profit before tax (PBT) increased 2% YoY to Rs 2,903.8 crore as against Rs 2,847.6 crore reported in the same quarter previous fiscal.

Employee benefit expenses stood at Rs 825.9 crore versus Rs 758.2 crore YoY, while other expenses increased to Rs 1,114 crore from Rs 816.5 crore.

For the full financial year FY26, Bharat Electronics reported revenue from operations of Rs 27,479.6 crore, up 16.4% from Rs 23,658 crore in FY25.

Annual net profit climbed 14.3% to Rs 6,048.5 crore compared to Rs 5,288.3 crore in the previous financial year.

The company’s yearly profit before tax rose 13.9% to Rs 8,075 crore from Rs 7,089.9 crore in FY25.

Bharat Electronics remains one of the key beneficiaries of India’s defence manufacturing push, supported by strong order inflows and execution momentum across radar, communication systems, and electronic warfare segments.
