Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has reported an impressive set of numbers for the second quarter, reflecting strong execution and healthy demand in the defence manufacturing space. The company posted a net profit of ₹216 crore for Q2, a sharp 75.5% rise from ₹123 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.

A major highlight of the quarter was the substantial jump in revenue. BDL’s topline climbed to ₹1,147 crore, growing by nearly 110.5% year-on-year compared to ₹545 crore in the previous year. This strong rise in revenue provided a solid base for both profit growth and operating momentum.

EBITDA for the quarter increased to ₹188 crore, up 89.4% from ₹98.8 crore last year. Despite the strong operating performance, the EBITDA margin moderated slightly to 16.4%, compared with 18.1% a year earlier.
