Top Gainers in the Pharma Sector

  • Wockhardt was the top performer, rising 3.64% on BSE to ₹1,699.00 and 3.91% on NSE to ₹1,701.70.
  • Sudeep Pharma Ltd. gained 1.87% on BSE to ₹710.00 and 2.10% on NSE.
  • Panacea Biotech rose 2.33% on BSE to ₹428.35.
  • Aarti Drugs advanced 2.35% on BSE to ₹403.35.

Other stocks showing gains included Alembic Pharma, IPCA Labs, Natco Pharma, Orchid Pharma, Lupin, Biocon, J.B. Chemicals, Glenmark Pharma, and Indoco Remedies.

Losers in the Pharma Sector

  • Aurobindo Pharma witnessed the sharpest decline, falling 3.99% on BSE to ₹1,452.90 and 4.11% on NSE.
  • Torrent Pharma was down 1.26% on BSE to ₹4,514.20.
  • Divis Laboratories declined 1.29% on BSE to ₹6,836.00.

Stocks such as Sun Pharma, Mankind Pharma, Zydus Lifesciences, Strides Pharma Science, and Wockhardt (some mixed movement) also saw small declines or limited movement.

Most other pharma stocks including Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Ajanta Pharma, and Lupin traded with modest changes.
