Persistent Systems’ shares surged over 3% on Wednesday after the company reported strong financial results for the second quarter of FY26. The IT services firm posted a net profit of ₹471 crore, up 10.9% from ₹424.9 crore in the previous quarter.
Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹3,580 crore, marking a 7.4% rise from ₹3,333.6 crore QoQ. The company’s EBIT also grew 12.6% to ₹583 crore compared to ₹517.8 crore last quarter, with operating margins improving to 16.3% from 15.5%.
In dollar terms, Persistent Systems reported $406.2 million in revenue, up 3.3% from $389.7 million QoQ, beating the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of $405 million. Constant currency (CC) revenue growth stood at 4.4%, higher than the expected 3.9%.
