Ola Electric shares drop another 4% as deliveries fall 14.8% in Q3 FY25 to 84,029 units

Ola Electric witnessed another 4% drop in its share price as vehicle deliveries declined in Q3 FY25. As of 10:17 AM, the shares were trading 3.83% lower at Rs 65.01.

The company reported total deliveries of 84,029 units, marking a 14.8% decrease from 98,619 units in Q2 FY25. The premium segment saw a sharper fall, with deliveries dropping to 29,283 units from 42,074 units, while the mass segment remained relatively stable at 54,746 units.

The decline in sales impacted Ola Electric’s revenue, which fell to ₹1,069 crore from ₹1,240 crore in the previous quarter. However, gross margins showed slight improvement, rising to 20.4% from 20.3%, indicating effective cost control. Despite this, the company’s EBITDA losses widened to ₹436 crore from ₹353 crore due to increased operating expenses. Net losses also grew, reaching ₹564 crore compared to ₹495 crore in Q2 FY25.

Ola Electric’s shares opened at ₹67.90, hitting a high of ₹67.90 and a low of ₹64.36. The stock is currently at its 52-week low of ₹64.36, significantly down from its 52-week high of ₹157.40.
