Nucleus Software Exports shares surge 20% following 85% QoQ rise in Q4 Net profit

Shares of Nucleus Software Exports Ltd jumped 20% to ₹1,186.25 in Friday’s trade following the company’s strong financial performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹1,186.25 on the NSE, marking a sharp rally from the previous close of ₹988.55.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹64.8 crore for the March quarter, registering an 85.14% quarter-on-quarter growth from ₹35 crore posted in the December 2024 quarter. This significant surge in profitability was driven by improved operational performance and better cost management.

Nucleus Software’s total income for the quarter increased to ₹245.58 crore from ₹221.27 crore in the prior quarter. The company’s EBITDA also saw a strong sequential growth of 124.4%, rising to ₹74.5 crore from ₹33.2 crore in the December quarter. The EBITDA margin expanded notably to 32.54% from 16.14% during the previous quarter.

Revenue from operations stood at ₹228.96 crore, up from ₹205.7 crore in Q3 FY25, while total expenses decreased to ₹158.04 crore compared to ₹176.27 crore in the previous quarter, reflecting improved efficiency.

Profit before tax during the quarter came in at ₹87.54 crore, nearly doubling from ₹45 crore reported in the December quarter. The board of the company also declared a final dividend of ₹12.5 per share for FY25.
