Indian equity benchmarks ended higher on October 29, with the Nifty closing above the 26,000 mark. The Sensex gained 368.97 points, or 0.44%, to finish at 84,997.13, while the Nifty advanced 117.70 points, or 0.45%, to settle at 26,053.90.

  • Maruti Suzuki dipped 1.1% to ₹16,140.0

  • Bajaj Finance declined 0.8% to ₹1,063.8

  • Kotak Mahindra Bank eased 0.5% to ₹2,151.0

  • Larsen & Toubro slipped 0.4% to ₹3,958.1
