Top Nifty Gainers:

Among Nifty stocks, Cipla led the gainers, rising 3.1% to 1,593.9, followed by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, which gained 2.6% to 1,277.7. Bajaj Finserv and ICICI Bank were up 1.0% each, closing at 1,978.6 and 1,444.7, respectively. Hindalco Industries rose 0.9% to 707.1, while Bajaj Finance added 0.9% to 895.4. Other notable gainers included Reliance Industries (0.8% at 1,424.5), SBI Life Insurance (0.8% at 1,872.9), Larsen & Toubro (0.7% at 3,619.0), and Bharat Electronics (0.7% at 374.3).

Top Nifty Losers:

On the other hand, Coal India was the top loser, falling 1.9% to 377.5. Tata Consumer Products and Bajaj Auto both dropped 1.6%, closing at 1,088.0 and 8,690.0, respectively. Eternal also declined 1.6% to 321.5, while Power Grid Corporation fell 1.5% to 284.1. Other notable decliners included IndusInd Bank (-1.4% at 767.6), Jio Financial Services (-1.3% at 324.1), JSW Steel (-1.2% at 1,069.3), Hindustan Unilever (-1.1% at 2,640.0), and Nestle India (-1.0% at 1,177.9).
