M&B Engineering shares moved over 3% in early trade after the company announced that its wholly owned US subsidiary, Phenix Construction Technologies Inc., has secured a major export order for designing, manufacturing and supplying pre-engineered buildings and structural steel for a client in the United States. Although the customer’s identity remains undisclosed due to confidentiality terms, the company highlighted that this is a meaningful international contract for the group.

The project is expected to be completed within three and a half months. Under the commercial terms, M&B Engineering will receive a 30% advance, with the remaining payable as per standard conditions. The work scope covers complete design and engineering, followed by manufacturing and delivery of customised structural steel systems to meet the client’s specific requirements.

The contract is valued at USD 7.53 million, roughly ₹67.12 crore. The company also clarified that neither the promoters nor any promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding organisation, confirming that the deal does not fall under related-party transactions.
